Radio Postcards

1/13/2024

In the genre of radio, amongst the plethora of Postcards, the ones that interest me are those that depict Radio Stations, Radio People or Radio Programs.

I will post a few that interested me so much that they came to join my collection.

You can see that if you combine the information from both the front and the rear, you can often work out the date from the Postmark if it isn't pre printed on the card itself, as well as the pre printed detail of the subject.  When there is a handwritten message, that can sometimes hint at the reason why the Postcard was sent to that person.  If you are really lucky, you might find a personal autograph rather than a pre printed one.

Radio Shows

This is the smaller of the three types of Radio related Postcards I collect.  There were so many shows, but so few Postcards release for that genre.

Please Note:  This is the Movie version of Dad & Dave.
I have been pushed for time while adding the postcards.  I will come back and supply some names and explanations.  I just had to make some room on my desk.
