SHOP

I call it a shop, but it isn't really.  I am too cheap to set up an e-commerce page here for the costs they want.

Basically all I am selling are duplicate items I pick up from time to time.  These are items mostly no longer for sale and I know they are hard to find and to buy, so I grab them when I see them, in case someone ever asks me about them.

So here they are.  If they have S/H then they are 2nd hand.  Otherwise they are new old stock, bit shop worn maybe but unused.  I doubt I am selling them for a profit, I couldn't be bothered looking it up and working out what I paid, if I kept the dockets in the first place.  The money from the sales just goes to buying more items anyway.

My wife Dawn has suggested .....quite strongly... also my children......to clear out a bit of my clutter.  Traitors!

Payment is via Paypal, or trade :)

Many of these items are single items, first in gets them.

If you are buying bulk, we can talk a deal.

Postage will depend on where you are and how much I am shipping.  Just ask and we can work out the price.

I will keep adding new items.  Next are the 10 CD sets of Australian Radio Drama from Radio Archives.

Some explanation on the Radio Call Collections.  These were created by Goulds, from my Radio Call Newspapers.  I was going through Chemo at the time, not knowing if I was going to live or die.  In exchange for my making the newspapers accessible for them, they gave me these sets in payment.  I haven't done anything with them until now.

At the time they were all the Radio Call Newspapers I had, but I have since added about another 150 to my collection.  One day maybe they will be scanned.

In the meantime these are pdf files of the Radio Call Newspapers, about $5,000 worth for a very small sum.  They are word searchable.  The Radio Call Newspapers, apart from news, have comic strips, radio program guides, entertainment news, a fabulous store of research information.

The quality of the scans and images are beautiful.

These are a must for any researcher of these time periods. They are NOT available on TROVE.

Please use this form to email me about any purchase on this page, mail costs etc.  Ian Grieve
Biggles - Deal with a Pirate resulted in Screensound (NFSA) being threatened with a lawsuit by the WE Johns Estate for releasing this set.  All copies were removed from shelves and returned to Screensound (NFSA) for destruction.  Only those who were lucky enough to have already been purchased, escaped.  They are a collectors item.  They are rare.  I have 3, yet only want to sell or trade, ONE.  The price reflects the rarity and is non negotiable because I am happy not to sell it.  You don't have to buy it, you can search for your own copy.
