Deadline aka Deadline For Danger

Picture

Deadline For Danger

Production House ARC

Drama

First Broadcast 3XY Thursday 1954-05-18 7.30pm

As we have since discovered, ARC series 'Deadline' is also 'Deadline For Danger' in the U.S. on Harry S. Goodman label under a distribution deal with ARC.  'Deadline For Danger was never broadcast in Australia even though the Production and cast is Australian.  It was sold for Broadcast.  At this stage we don't know for sure, but suspect that 'Deadline' became series 1 of 'Deadline For Danger'.  From Harry S. Goodman labels it appears there were 2 series of 52 episodes.

See my blog of 14th May, 2017 for the story.

These are episode titles for 'Deadline' from Listener In Radio Newspaper that I have found so far.  They are from the 3XY Melbourne run of the series.  Most of the program guide unfortunately did not contain episode titles.

So these series are very much a work in progress at this stage.
