Australian Radio Production
Houses
In this section we will deal with the business end of Australian Radio Production. In the months to come, we will add detail here to show the relationships and networks, the dates of commencements and in some cases, the dates they ceased production.
This list has been compiled from the information contained in the Database of Australian Series and Serials. That is not to say that this is every production house, just those that we have documented from the series and serials identified thus far, in the period covered by this site, 1923 – 1962 (ish).
We have also included a search engine so that you can conduct a search of each production house, and find out which series and serials they produced.
Please note: Australian Radio Station Call Signs consist of a number denoting their State within Australia and
two letters. Stations starting with a 2 are New South Wales and 3 is for Victoria. Further explanation and descriptions are contained
in the Radio Station Section of the site.
